Plans

Pick your level of hand-holding.

Every plan is quoted against your actual site. Move up or down whenever it makes sense.

Sites that just need to stay up

Basic

Somebody competent is responsible for it. That’s the whole promise.

  • Managed hosting and SSL
  • Off-server backups, tested
  • Core and plugin updates
  • Uptime monitoring
  • Email support, same business day

Most single-site businesses

Sites that change through the year

Basic + Time

For anyone with a list of small changes they never get around to.

  • Everything in Basic
  • Monthly content and edit hours
  • Performance and SEO checks
  • Staging site for testing
  • Priority response

Our most common plan

The site as a sales channel

Retainer

We hold time for you each month and work from a roadmap instead of a queue.

  • Everything in Basic + Time
  • Discounted development rate
  • Quarterly roadmap review
  • New pages and features on request
  • Named contact, direct line

Multi-site and ecommerce

In every plan

The floor, not the pitch.

If any of this isn’t happening on your site right now, that’s the gap worth closing.

Managed hosting

Canadian servers, SSL, and a CDN in front of it. We size the plan to the site rather than selling you a tier you don’t use.

Backups you can actually restore

Off-server and versioned, and we restore one periodically to prove it works. An untested backup is a guess, and the day you need it is the wrong day to find out.

Updates on a schedule

Core, plugins and themes, checked against a staging copy before they touch the live site. Someone is accountable for them happening.

Monitoring that reaches a person

If the site goes down we hear about it before you do, and out of hours it goes to a phone rather than an inbox nobody is reading.

Security hardening

File permissions, disabled browser file editing, login rate limiting and two-factor for admins. The same measures we apply after cleaning up someone else’s mess.

A person who answers

You email us, one of us replies. No ticket portal, no tier-one script, no account manager relaying questions to the people doing the work.

FAQ

Fair questions

Do I have to host with you?

No, but it’s simpler if you do — we can act immediately instead of waiting on someone else’s support queue. If you’re already somewhere decent we’ll work with it. If you’re on something we can’t keep secure, we’ll tell you and help you move.

What if I only want the hosting?

That’s Basic. It’s the floor: the site stays up, patched and backed up, and you know who to email. Plenty of clients never need more than that.

Is there a contract?

Month to month. The hosting account, the domain and the site are yours, so leaving means we hand over credentials rather than negotiate.

What counts as an edit?

Swapping copy, adding a page, changing images, updating staff or pricing — the things you’d otherwise sit on for months. New functionality is quoted separately so you’re never surprised by an invoice.

How fast do you reply?

Same business day on Basic, and within a couple of hours on the higher plans. If the site is down or compromised it goes to the front of the queue regardless of what you’re paying.
